B.B.S (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery)

MBBS is the only course in India to become a medical doctor. Through this course, students are taught all about human anatomy, human cytology, medicine, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, a method of surgery etc. It is a 5.5 year UG degree programme leading to two degrees as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with 4.5 years of academic education and one-year mandatory internship.

 

D.S (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)

It is the only educational and professional programme of dental surgery in India which equivalent to MBBS and owes the ”Dr.” domain. It is a 5 year UG course with 4-year academic education and 1-year compulsory internship. Students are taught denture, dental problems, dental surgery, pharmaceuticals etc.

 

H.M.S (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

It is a 5.5 year UG course with 4.5 years of academic education and 1 year of internship. This degree owes the “Dr.” domain. After completing this degree you are eligible to become a doctor in the homeopathic medical field.

 

A.M.S (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)

It’s a UG degree programme for those students who want to study modern and traditional Ayurveda and can be only completed after 4.5 years of academic education and 1 year of internship. The course is divided into three sections with each section of 1.5 years.

 

Pharm ( Bachelor of Pharmacy)

It is a 4 year UG course in the field of Pharmacy education. In this course, students study drugs and medicine. Pharmacists can work in a range of industries related to prescription, manufacture, and provision of medicine.

 

Sc – Nursing (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

It is a practice of professional nursing and midwifery. If you love serving people and taking care of them this one is for you. It is a 4 year UG course.

 

P.T(Bachelor of Physiotherapy)

It is a 4 year UG course, including compulsory 6 months of clinical internship, and involving the science of physical movements aimed at preventing disease and disability.

 

O.T.(Bachelor of Occupational Therapy)

Occupational Therapy incorporates the purposeful profession that enables the physically or mentally challenged people to enjoy their everyday life. It is a 4.5 years UG course.

 

M.L.T. ( Bachelor of Medical Lab Technicians)
